Electric under floor heating is becoming increasingly popular, particularly in Kitchens and conservatories. The installation is quite involved depending on the heating mat installed. If under floor heating is installed in a Kitchen the work carried out needs to be notified under Part P of the building regulations. SCN Electricals Ltd being members of NAPIT are able to do this for you. The photographs below show under floor heating installed in a new conservatory the client was having laminate flooring which requires a different heating mat unless a screed is being put down over the heating mat.
